This is an awesome picture although I can't put my finger on why. Just a really good shot.
probably because of all of the angles and colors--that's why i like it, anyway...plus, these something about a woodedn staircase with ornamental balustrades.
Could it be the irony of the lightbulb (remaining unbroken)?
I love your starcase shots!
I like the combination of the unbroken light bulb and the switch sticking out below it, actually. Just seems sort of fun somehow.
Great old staircase and unbroken bulb.... everything else falling down around it makes this a very strong and interesting shot.... Some things withstand the test of time... and others don't
just as in life.......
I see no light bulb...only a lonely soap dispenser at the end of his chain, so to speak
LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!! :0)

I've been en-LIGHT-ened! Poor little lonely soap dispenser...it needs someone to clean...Dr. Sketch???
hahaha hey Bri :P
I love this pic, i think there's something in the fact that all that wood can be destroyed but something as fragile as a light bulb can remain intact. A powerful shot.
No funny comments from me on this one. It would be sacreligious! This is one of the first pictures I remember, and it literally took my breath away. I sat and looked at this picture for over an hour before I could do anything else again. Motts, you've never taken a bad picture (that we know of), but this here is the million dollar shot!
Well, in my words, i must say, TIMBER!
wow is all i can say wow its like heaven is collapsing and falling apart
interesting............it makes me want to go up one floor
oh poor light bulb, it hung itself!
i like the textures, myself. ...the brick in combination with the green tint is nice, too.
Watch your step!
Was there a piano still in that room by any chance?
We've seen lonely chair shots. now Motts will amaze us with a lonely lightbulb shot.
