Right when this shot loaded on my screen I said "oh my god" outloud. This is really a beautiful shot. It reminds me of A Midsummer Night's Dream or something. Really, this is an amazing photo.
Hey, Motts,
I don't know if this is a dumb or obvious question, but was this shot taken in infrared?
Yes sir, it's an infrared shot. They are usually characterized by foliage turning white and a clear blue sky turning dark, but sometimes it's tough to tell like in this shot (it was overcast).
This picture almost looks like an impressionistic painting, thanks for the education, Motts.
Absolutely beautiful in black and white.
It's pretty. Kinda has that "peaceful" look/feel to it.
I think it's pretty, but it also looks like there are dead people
awwww, this one's purdy!!! it'd look nice in my bedroom
Achoo!! Lordy my allergies this spring!!Yes, it's very "Monet-ish"
absolutely beautiful!
Perfect for a wallpaper Motts!
My mom did her rotation in psych nursing at Met back in the 60's when she was in nursing school. She said that while she was here, they held a sort of carnival for the patients in this courtyard.
wow
The grilled burgers were excelent at the Carnival! I never did understand though, why Santa Claus was there...in the Summer?
Stunning! Absolutly stunning! Oh my god! =O DO I SEE A GHOST IN THE FRONT ENTRANCE!!!!???? I think that may be my imagination but I swear to god I see it.
i know these pictures are really old but is this building still standing?
I think it was torn down and made into apartments.
I am just waiting for a ghost to pop out.
