Reminds me of a warehouse of souls.
The courtyards were used long ago and referred to bull pens I believe. Especially in the male wards they would have the patients walk in a circle around the courtyard. They believed if they were kept moving there wouldn't be any so called "episodes" ::cough::
Maybe it was the rear entrance to Adm and Doctors' Offices and Apartments. Delivery to Kitchen, Ward Laundry Pickups, etc.
I played a intense game of frisbee with a mad man named Mercury in this courtyard. Those are all wards that usually surrounded the courtyards.
On this side of the building are several spots where there is a fenced-in space (almost like a crawl-space but with room to stand) with stalactite-like mineral deposits hanging from the ceiling. Some were several inches long, looking like little icicles.
yea! the mineral deposits were straaaange, any idea what kind of compound that could be?
Man, that was one creepy looking set of buildings! I could have investigated here for days!
