Did any of the buildings you visited have connecting hallways to the active part of the complex?
Yes, I try to stay as far away as possible though.
It would be interesting to see the active parts and compare it to the abandoned part....
Although the chances of it happening are slim to none, still I can't help to wonder what a patient would think if they wandered into one of these areas. I also can't imagine residing in a building connected to something so abandoned. Yet if I wasn't a hospital patient, I might consider it quite nice to be able to go exploring so easy! But It think it would ultimately creep me out.
Barbara,
That's an interesting thought... if a patient happend to wander into the abandoned area of the hospital.... especially if its connected somewhere by a hallway. Probably the first thought that would come to my mind might be - this is the " Snake Pit ".
It looks like something has crawled along the ceiling, leaving a trail behind it
its old and ugly. =/ i dont like it, it creeps me out. =( its ghastly.
This is awesome, must of been cool to just be there, I love these places, you have some Terrific pics here,, I AM JEALOUS,, Keep up the good work I wish there were more of these awesome places.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROCK ON
it makes you wonder what could be down that hallway and what happened here and what they did to the poor people there.
I think its sexy!!!!! Me and my band would so wanna shoot a video there.Reminds me of somthing out of my dreams.
it looks like its detiorating badly there
ever wonder why there are shutters on the inside of the windows?
I imagine they are for decor purposes, so the hallway doesn't look so bland.
I think the shutters are a nice touch. Gives this area some character.
It's somewhat reminiscent of the Silent Hill PS2 game. Deteriorating walls/ceilings, very creepy. That was my first impression.
