No, this is before fieldstone, if you are coming from Garnerville. At the four way stop turn into the parking lot by the church. If you drive through it all the way on the far left side. I've been told it was the old hospital. One side was for men the other for women.

I must say this was the scarest place I have ever been to. My sisters and I went to this place at 12:00 am and we had the most fun ever untill we where chased out by the police.

The figure in the middle of the field looks like our friend motts sitting with his elbows on his knees admiring the view...of...a wall....now...where's my meds?

ive been in the morgue of this building a few times.....[entry information edited as per site policy]....go down the steps to the basement....walk around but go right for the most part.....youll eventually see the hallway with the lab at the end.....to the left as u walk down if the morgue....my friend got locked in one of the freezers and we had to break the door to get him out.....freaky

they boarded up all the old ways in after the fire. just a hint, that fire opened up new ways in...

These pictures bring back many memories of cutting out of High School to waste away afternoons exploring. Between Letchworth and Cheesecoate Mountain, i probably missed 60 days of senior year.

We got mad activity when we were in there... The morgue trays slammed shut once we left the room, after we made sure know one was around... If you go around the right, youll see an entrance to the basement, and the morgue is down the first hallway on the right.

i was just here 2day at my breakfast and orientation for the school

i was here last night drinking on the roof and its outta control now with weeds and plants barely looks like this

we went and explored every inch of this place today. Make ur way into the powerhouse, make your way up to the roof, its awsome. And check out the garbage hoppers too (the half=pipe lookin things). The other buildings are full of cool stuff. Check it out, watch for glass in the plumbing section of the powerhouse complex. And yes, all the fire extinguishers are empty, so dont waste your time, lol. PEace.

it hasnt been built to a school i was just ther yesterday its still there and yea there was a fire but theres other ways in and i couldnt find the morgue but found some freaky dentist chairs

I went here yesterday, second floor, there was two loud thumps as if someone knocked into something, and door which sounded like it was creaking open or shut. we ran out, scared that the creaking door was locking us in. such an interesting place, the shadows in this picture are phenominal

Lotta crud me goin around at this place lately. I mean, I actually am a student at the school Fieldstone, and trust me, I have seen some pretty dang creepy stuff here. If you take a look inside of some of the buildings, you can see files laying around, a couple of stabbed up manickens, and I hear at night some people sleep in the buildings. Of course, now they have censor alarms for some of them. But if you really want to get some good info about letchworth, then head out to the red brick hospital near willogrove middle school. In there is a room filled with files on just about every single patient and event that has happend there.
Besides that, if you want to find some where that is really freaky, then go onto google and look up letchworth village graves. True story, a friend of my moms went driving there by accident at night cuz she was looken for a short cut, and some other guy was following her (not like a stalker, but still...), and then they reached this grave site, with a whole bunch of metal crosses sticking out of the ground, marked by numbers, as well as one that was labled "Mikey's grave", and before they could go any further, both cars shut down. They were stuck for hours until for some weird reason, they just started up again at the same time.

For those who are looking for a scare, that is the place to go. And if you are someone who wants proof of ghosts or anything, letchworth village and the grave site are the best places you can get your proof. Trust me.

haha believe it or not some of these building are Field Stone Secondary school for 8-9 grade. I am in the school thats how i know. Its pretty freaky

The morgue is in the Reville Building, building 41. Its the building above... It is in the basement... Can't miss is.

nope this part is still is in dis-use. its the part that HAD the librabry but that was set on fire and now just a shell on the west part? i believe?

In the middle of the courtyard is a jet water fountain tha t used to be used in lechworth and is not used anymore. Trust me I go to school there i would know

Sometimes groups like TAPS and others cannot get the approval for using the sites, or cannot find who really 'owns' the property in order to do filming in the location.

There has been movement to try and transform Letchworth into a senior center but within recent years the funding has fell through and maybe for even more sinister reasons as well. The Palisades group who once owned (or rather tried to buy?) the property may not want it to become public that the place is haunted; and could therefore cause the price to drop, or cause unwanted publicity.

I know I would LOVE to see a formal investigation of beloved Letchworth, but not at the dire price of her becoming directly in the eye of the public or worse more teenagers/hoodlums/arsonists who wish to do harm.

Actually TONI, it has NOT been "opened & active for over 200 years'"seeing as it was only built in the beginning of the twentieth century and closed before the millenium.

I suggest you check your sources more carefully.

i LOVE THIS

I worked as an aide in this building, the Boy's ward on the right--- from 1978 to 81. Loved taking care of those poor souls. I still remember most of their names and wonder what became of them after I left......

Last night was the 2nd time my team has come here, but this was my 6th or 7th visit. After about a hour of exploring the 3 levels, we heard some ruckus outside and there were 2 cars and a motorcycle parking next to my car...I was kind of freaked out by other visitors, but they stayed out of the way....Mostly kids who were there to look around or whatever.
We picked up a great Class A EVP, on the third floor of the Reville Building. I stayed in the stairwell, in between the second and third floors with M because I was suddenly seriously overcome with a wave of emotion and became hysterical very fast.
After a couple minutes...i heard commotion going on down the hall...and as i peaked around the corner, i saw flashlights go running by the far end of the hall...turn around and come back.....and then E was yelling my name....
He said that him and B both heard me screaming...even thought i wasnt....and then went to run back to me and the door wasnt there...B said she felt a push right before they came running down the hallway towards M and I. And after listening to the EVP session... right before they start asking questions, There is a female voice that clearly says "Are you here? Are.....You.....Leaving? Hello?"
Theres also a high pitched whistle through out the whole session they said they couldnt hear in real time.

There has been other incidences where E and B has seen shadows or shimmery light holding me, cupping my face and even one instance, comforting me. The spirits/entities like to get in my personal space for some reason. haha.

Just be careful exploring this part of Letchworth. Its falling into bad shape over the last 15 years of neglect. Its crazy watching how things change so drastic over time. The first time I came was only 4 or 5 years after it closed...and it was in much better shape with tons of artifacts........I just wish kids, that are only there to drink or spray paint or destroy things, would stay out of these places.
