Dental Equipment

Dental Equipment

There were about five or six of these dental stations in this building. They still had tools attached to the hoses.

i need to talk to someone about this place. my family and i went here on a camping trip a few years back.
i wont go into details about what happened. besides it sounds way to far fetched.. especially to all you skeptics out there. what we encountered was real.
if you know what im talking about please, please email me

Let us remember why most of us hated the dentist when we were little. lol
Very old dental equipment.
Dammit.....that's where my good polishing attachment got to.
it looks like an android
It does look like an android, it reminds me of the robot in the old movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still".
oh yeah i remember that movie
Don't worry, this won't hurt much...
would love 2 hear your story star!
Hi.
This is a superb picture of a D60 Dental Unit which was manufactured by the Ritter Dental Company in both Rochester, New York, USA and at their Durlach branch in Kalruhe in Germany in the 1960s. This was a most popular dental unit of the period which was sold to virtually every country in the world.
RJC Curator, Dental Museum, Nordfjordeid in Norway.
Ahhh, a "Ritter robot"!!! I came in all sorts of cool colors: I've seen them in pink, blue, green, beige--usually with cabinetry to match!! Circa 1960's
nice unit i hope some one picked it up before they demolishied the bulding.
Who's up for a root canal?
Motts, of all of the pictures of dental related 'things', this is by far the best one I have seen....
reminds me of the robots on the Jetsons ....a relative of Rosie or something.....
When I was eight I would attend the stony point ambulance fire works right across the street in the active part of letchworth. My curiosity for the other abandoned buildings wasn't filled up until three years ago. At fifteen I walked through the old medical building like it was nothing. I know where everything is like the back of my hand. Now seventeen when I walk through that building it feels like someone or something is trying to tell me something ....
this machine...was for mutilating children and canabilizing adults.....
this makes me very VERY happy :3
