This doesn't even look real. It's like a set or something. Amazing photo.
The only thing I can think of to say ........................ DAMN thats one hell of a shot
I had to look real close and ask my husband to look at this...

With the untrained eye it looks like a painting that is ripped. But my husband pointed out to me that it's actually a screen door that's just ripped up and the dark is the screen and the light is where there is no screen due to the rips.

Beautiful shot! If I had this photo in a frame I would deffinatly hang it on my wall.
another great shot!
Amazing!!! One of my favorites.
Amazing shot! It's just so compelling...I love it!
Amazing photo! Almost looks unreal.

Motts, how many morgues did this place have?
Two, the older morgue here http://www.opacity.us/image1163_morgue.htm and the newer stainless steel one here http://www.opacity.us/...4_morgue_freezer.htm

They were in different buildings.
wow, um... wow

Beautiful shot. I love the tattered screens hanging down.
How do you do it! I may be looking at this website for the rest of my life! You are just an incredible photographer.......You've captured every emotion there is and in the most interesting places.
oh Motts! i vote you return to Letch and take another round of pics! You'd be suprised [and saddened] as to how much it has changed, and been violated over the years. It's really heartbreaking. And now the sales trailor for Encore in set in front of the ReVille building..a disgrace
Thats beautiful!!!!
Love the infrared.
Beautiful.
love this!
Motts- How was this shot? With a filter? It's such a pretty ice blue color...
Beautiful Photo !! thanks
OK, I am a lover of photography and after many years of having to only take alot of point and shoots since High School days in the 1970's when I was young and want ed to pursue a real career with photos, but got side tracked in life till now, I find this photo horrific in a way. After all the stories and photos and walks and paranormal walks, of others till present day, it is quite obvious that that window was designed to bring IN the Bad, the Evil and may I say, Satan. They never had a chance. So sorry for all the souls that had to exist in that Archaic Hell, may they rest in Peace. An upside down cross is what I see. But your photo is absolutely beautiful, thanks for sharing and inspiring.
Amazing shot Motts!
