Something says Silent Hill...
Maybe a little Fatal Frame II as well
Another great wallpaper.....
wow
And where do these stairs lead to?
Into an courtyard too overgrown to navigate.
wow it took me a few seconds to find the stairs!
how did you find this place motts???
Descend into the GREEN hell.

Signed: An American Soldier stationed in Germany.
I WONDER WHY WOULD THEY ABANDONED THE HOUSE?
that is a really neat shot - the vine hidden stairwell... very nice.

to the person who likened it to silent hill - there's a town in pennsylvania that it's actually based on that was mostly abandoned after the coal mines caught fire. they've been burning steadily for the past 50 years
Curious thought that the vines are taking-over a plant place.

Lucrece is referring to Centralia Pa., a town in north- central Pa. under which a mine-fire has been burning since the early 1960's.
My exhusband's cousin lived in Centralia until about 10 yrs ago-their house was finally bought by the government to get them out of the town-there are still a few holdouts though. I personally wouldn't want a fire burning under my house.
Okay........this is one of my new favorite shots....
Very Secret Garden-esque
aha is this in the back room of the greenhouse building? we like to call it the crackhouse lol but I know that in spring, that shit is hard to get out of because everything has bloomed!
Too bad the courtyard is so overgrown-it would have been a nice place for a picnic.
