This hospital was surprisingly large, and covered with hundreds of mesh screens that secured every window, from the ground floor to the top. Through the mesh we could see years worth of graffiti - layers of bright colors layered on top of each other, looking much like some streets of East Berlin. The odd combination of being completely trashed yet secure was definitely interesting. The last structure in Germany this well secured was extremely rewarding, but we knew Staacken would be pretty far gone by peering in through the holes of the metal sheets. We poked around a bit until an opening presented itself after a bit of a climb... this was entailed by much more climbing, trying to access other structures with not as much luck as the first. There was a nice little surprise found walking out though.
