Suburbia
We drove through a rather wealthy neighborhood in Brussels, searching for an abandoned hospital. It didn't look too promising; no public or commercial buildings were in sight, and there weren't even woods where a rotting building could be hidden in this posh area. The houses were large and filled up the small lots that lined the curved roads. Finally, upon rounding a corner, there it was - a rather unattractive shell of a building with some fresh boards along the bottom. We walked away from the unavoidable scowls of the neighbors leaving for work that morning, hoping no one would call the police.
The inside was slightly more interesting than the exterior; some interesting architectural details could be seen here and there, but most rooms were quite bland. While exploring the basement, we found some live wires, then heard someone walking around, so we thought it would be a good time to leave.
