My friends and I had just finished up a good day of investigating and exploring some sites all throughout Eastern PA, and decided to finish the remaining light with the Ashley breaker. I was amazed at how large the place was, having never seen a picture of it before... the giant coal breaker stood tall on one side of the road, while the power plant rested on the other, creating a beautiful valley of brick and steel. A good amount of tread marks and tire tracks crisscrossed the fields of dried mud, but no one was to be seen today; still, we quickly took refuge from prying eyes and the sun inside the cavernous buildings, and set off in a race to capture what we could before the sun set.
