The hospital itself had closed and quickly begun renovations; medical specimens were incinerated, stainless steel was being cut out, and the floors were swept. I arrived a little later than I wished; but upon seeing the place I was very glad I got to photograph it at all - the rare presence of an isolation viewing room and a grandiose autopsy theater really made my day!
