We met our friendly contacts
Slyv, Charlotte, and some nice explorers from France mid-afternoon, and headed out to see the castle on a cool, damp and dreary day. The group of 8 or so people hiked up a steep and muddy hill to the top, where our crowning jewel awaited - Noisy. Once we got inside, everyone seemed to disappear as they went off exploring all the corners of the building (which was great as we kept out of each others shots).
The wood was damp and soft, and every surface seemed slippery, but most of the floors were navigable. It rained off and on throughout the day, and the weather made for really cruddy exterior photos... my only saving grace from a blown out white sky seemed to be with the infrared filter on. We spent an ample amount of time here, and once a vehicle showed up and parked on the property, we figured it would be a good time to leave and headed out. I left soaking wet and jet lagged... time to try those Belgian beers!
