Around the Bend
Today was a beautiful autumn day, perfect for exploring large facilities. With this trip most likely being our only chance to see this place, we proceeded with much caution, avoiding the scrappers tearing up the railroad tracks in back as well as the ones inside a few of the buildings, a utility worker inspecting the poles, and workers in the old foundry, which was still an active building. Whenever distant voices echoed through the giant halls we found a place to hide or went off in another direction, and sucessfully avoided meeting anyone, although we might've missed out on a few floors.
The place had been cleaned out except for some assembly line tracks hanging from the ceiling and the giant stamping machines, but the structure was pretty cool in itself. The engine room was nothing short of amazing, it really made the trip great.
