Made a jaunt to a cemetery today. I took my neighbor, who doesn't drive,
to visit her dad. These pics are my chronicle of the afternoon.
I had hoped for more statuary, and older, but most of the monuments
were polished granite.

1. An unusual name, even more so because they're not yet interred.

Great shots, the red is stunning.

That's an awful lot of names starting with K in number one.... with no room for further names...  and she's older than he is...

Thanks, but don't you have Mt. Hope close by?
Lots of statuary & other stuff there, from what I've heard.

Many thanks, sir!

23 is one of my favs too.
Hope you're staying safe in spite of all your storms.

Crazy, isn't it? And what if they have more grandchildren before they pass on?  Undecided

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. I enjoyed today's shoot, but my next outing
will try to find a cemetery with more statuary, and hopefully a much older one.
But I'm glad I was able to take my neighbor to visit her dad.  Smiley

There is a bit, but, nothing as elaborate as what you've posted here.  Our claim to fame is R.E. Olds and a few other local 'celebs' like Dr. Sparrow who built the largest hospital in the area.  I may be a little jaded, as I am in that cemetery quite often, because that's where my Grannie is buried...

This set is really great Sked! Wink It's about time Christ got his own covered patio, in #2. Grin In #8-#11, it is nice to see that there is a bit of personality to that small mausoleum.  Smiley Nice job! Cheesy

I gave up deciding on a favorite, Sked.  I <3 the set as a whole.  Though if I did have to pic favorites 15 and 16 would be those. Smiley
