I live in the Los Angeles area and I am looking for interesting areas to explore. Tunnel systems, large abandoned buildings, weird places; pretty much any suggestion that is adventurous and relatively deserted would be much appreciated.

If you know anything that is a reasonable drive from Los Angeles (if it's good enough and somewhere in Southern California I'll definitely consider it).

I hope this post isn't in the wrong area, or isn't stupid in some other way. I have been doing hikes in trespassing areas since I was ~fifteen. I have always wanted to try going into buildings/tunnels/caves and the like but I don't have much info on areas.

Thanks for your time!

Not sure how many members are in California. Your best bet is to keep looking around.
With the high property values there it might be harder to find abandonments, you might have to try the rural and mountain regions.

How long can men thrive between walls of brick, walking on asphalt pavements, breathing the fumes of coal and oil, growing, working, dying, with hardly a thought of wind, and sky, and fields of grain, seeing only machine-made beauty.
