Ok, I'm stuck here at the house today after eating some bad food at a local restarant last night.
 Here's some pics I've messed around with. They're prob crappy, but thought I'd post them anyways..

You don't see these markings on a car radio anymore.... Conelrad or Civil Defense marking

 From what I read in the owner's manual..

 "In the event of a national emergency or enemy attack, all stations will go off the air and you are to tune your radio to one of the Civil Defense stations marked by the Conelrad markings.
 They will give you information on what to do"
                       -1956 Ford Owner's Manual

 I'm assuiming it has to do with Cold War stuff.....
