It's been awhile since I've posted, haven't really had a chance to go out shooting much, but I got this...

That has to be Bannerman's Arsenal on Pollepel Island, not that far from where I live. I only wish there was more they could do to keep the place from falling into further ruin

Wish I wasn't all the way across the country. That would be so awesome!

Love the colors in this LL!
And this is Mr and Mrs Lizard. They live under the sidewalk behind the house. They have been there about 2 or 3 years now...they raise their babies and just hang out the rest of the time. They posed for the cell phone
We think Mr is in the back and Mrs is towards the front of the picture.

They eat a ton of bugs. If we are outside and they are out of their "den" they won't go back in till we leave - guess they want to keep their address a secret
Love having lizards around to take care of the creepy critters.

Toot, do you live someplace warm and sunny year round? No lizards here. We did have a big black and red salamander sashay into the garage one day.

I am in central Texas so we don't get the winters some areas do. We are pretty warm most of the year. We have a lot of lizards and unfortunately snakes around here.

They are not big lizards... took that with my cell phone and zoomed in. They usually don't sit still like that for a photo. They are about 6 inches long, Mrs. is a little smaller. The Mr. has a blue tummy too heh.
Beautiful blooms Kay! Glad the lizards didn't make ya run like the snake did! The only thing Texas has is heat and bugs
