Thanks for the info re: "The Pennhurst Project", it not being done yet might very well explain why I'm not finding it.
By chance do you know where I can find updates on the progress of the documentary?
As for "Suffer the Little Children" There is a very short snippit on Youtube, but honestly I'm not sure how good it is. I've got a plan or two I want to try out to get the "good" version onto computer... And if it works, I'd be glad to send it to you and or anyone else who wants it.
My plan is this... Right now I'm using my feeance's new computer while I wait for my new MacBook which should be in my hands in March or April. I think on the MacBook there is some really good movie editing software included with iLife 08. I know you can import video in it from a camera, and I am going to check to see if there is a way to capture any video that happens to be playing on the computer. If so I don't think it would be hard to just go to the website and stream the videos. Or perhaps there is a way to hook the computer to an exturnal recording device and then import the recorded video that way.
My second choice is to videotape my monitor with my handicam and hope that the quality is fiarly good. This might take some doing though because I've a 17 month old daughter who loves to run around and make noise! Thankfully though most weeks she goes to a friend's house for a day to give me some peace and quiet so I can tend to other things like neatening up the house and so on. I might give the video recording thing a go the next time she goes off to our friends' just to see if it is any good.
My third choice is to see if there is screen capture software out there for the Mac. I'd get it for the PC, but like I said righ now I'm not on my own computer and my feeancee is picky about things getting downloaded.
If anyone else has any othe ideas as to how to get this video other than what I am planning to try feel free to share... And like I said, if anyone wants my end results, if they are any good, just let me know.
I'd be more than happy to share.
