Portsmouth, NH School

Hey guys. Recently I've taken notice of a particular location in Portsmouth, NH and I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about it. I think it used to be the old Portsmouth Middle School; it's located at 100 Monroe St. and there's a public playground directly in front of it on the same property. I've been trying to research it online, but so far I've come up empty handed, so that's why I'm turning to you guys for help. It's some place that I'm planning on exploring in the near future; I just wanted a little background info before I head in. Thanks for your help!

That would be the Lafayette School. It was originally an elementary school before it closed:

Looks rather austere. Great photos, GrayFox!

Awesome, thank you! The visuals help, too. Would you say it's worth exploring?

Honestly, no. Its very boring inside and wasn't worth the effort of getting in.

It's a pretty craftsman-style school though. Nice stuff!

Cool looking place. I have always wanted to explore and old school. Especially the one I used to go to. It's over 100 years old, but it's still in full service. Although there is a very old middle school that I've been fantasizing about it for a year now to the point I have dreams of me exploring it every so often.
