I was really distraught!  I was just thinking that since I hadn't had any troubles with the site, my whole "Knock on wood" thingy didn't work!

And to follow, Lyric, we are sorry!  We just love your pics too much, Motts!    Forgive us?

Hey guys, sorry for the server issues it's not your fault
I need to see how I can optimize the scripts so that they aren't using so much resources, the hosting company thought my site would crash their server and disabled it, with good cause.

I will try to get the comments page back up next week as I won't be around on the weekend. You can still post comments, just can't see them all on one page.

Is this the first time they've been with you when you posted a new gallery?  I can just see the looks on their faces now: checking bandwidth usage, seems ok, seems ok, HOLY SHIAT!!!!    Cheesy

heh yep that's probably the problem... I'll see if I can make a caching system for displaying the comments somehow.

I saw the 'server overload' thing too. For awhile, I couldn't even get into this forum. I kept getting an 'Forbidden error #403'.

My first thought, was I shouldn't have announced the new gallery at BBT.

Heh ... we gave the server a nervous breakdown.  LOVE IT!

Er ... I mean ... Sorry, Mr. Motts, for making the server's little brain explode.

I couldn't get onto the site either.  I got the "forbidden" error message.  I thought there was something wrong with my computer again.

Is it truly paranoia when they ARE out to get you?

We crashed the server!

That's the web equivalent of shattering the backboard with a slam dunk!
