The property is listed with the county as a "Historical" landmark. If developers wanted to build there, they'd have a heck of a time.

HA HA HA!!!! That is somebody's vision of 'modern'. It's sort of attractive in an abstract sort of way. It may look better once the building ages a bit.

Jeez, that really does look like a grain elevator! Yikes!
Yeah, near me they just destroyed this beautiful community garden to build a bunch of houses...and the area is smaller and there's houses behind it...not to mention its right across from the hospital...yeah not a good combination.

The round part, when i was inside in oct. 04, was empty, except for a train that ran around the inside perimiter about 10 ft off the floor.
There is a reading area, seperate from the librairy, that has " quiet rooms " made of galvanized steel that look like storage silos ( complete with rotating vents on top )
They look like corn could come shooting out at any moment.
If you look at the picture of the girl looking out the window you can see the windmill that is behind the school.

That sewage pump looks like an industrial arm-squisher.

It'd have to be one heck of a long arm. The length of pipe is about six - seven feet long.
