If you wanna show how to code something in, try enclosing it in the "Code" brackets.  That way, you can show it exactly, instead of having to use fake brackets.

For example:
Code:
[b]This would be bold[/b]

See?

I tried last night, but was too tired to figure it out. I was using the wrong code. I used [font color=xxx] followed by [/font]...till I read the other posts here.... Cool

Oh, is THAT what the code button is for? I never could figure that one out.

Code:
Always is green?

And what is "LIST" used for?

To do both, it's just a matter of bracketing within brackets.

For cyan and huge font, it should look like this, with the correct brackets:

{size=24}{color=cyan}This is a test!{/color}{/size}

Sometimes it's simpler to just type it all out manually, instead of clicking.

OH NO!!!!! I'm not spending another night in frustration trying to figure something out.

List is used to make a list (hehehe)  Like this:

    List item one
    List item two

    List item three

The code for it was:
Code:

[list]List item one
List item two[/list]
[list]List item three[/list]

I dunno what the ordered list is...

Well, if it WAS, would it show up on the black or grey background?

I just found it explained in the BBCode help area, but it made no sense to me. Seems easier to just type your items manually!

Oh Pa Backy you are just sooo cute!   And funny!   You're catching on to all this just fine,   it's all just a matter of some simple html coding,  and once you "get" it,  you've got it for good.

I've always been like this. Simple directions like 'slide tab A into slot B' don't always cut it. I need a good swift kick in the rear to get started. Once I'm in, I usually figure out the rest for myself. (LOL) I also tend to get mad at myself when I can't do something.
