OK , Good, it doesn't really exist!! BUT, if you wanted to stretch it a bit, if you combine the three Greek letters in a biological/medical/scientific way, Theta = an EEG wave of a stage of sleep. Lambda= the sutures of the skull at the point where the occipital and parietal regions meet. Rho= (I think
)A measure of a protien in RNA . Not sure what it will mean all put together and most probably don't care but there it is!
So, cool....
I have too much time on my hands....

Can I count this one in too? I'm holding my hair out to the side. If I can figure out how to work the flash on my camera, I can show off that I'm a blond now!

Is it just me...
or do you wish he'd waited just a tad longer before snapping this picture?
I already have my reputation as a dirty old man so this is just more confirmation.

Hi,
One person banned and several being examined closely. I guess I will have to give up my Sunday afternoon and come on line every few hours to clean up the poop someone is flinging. It is very pleasant to have to work 6 days a week, 11+ hours a day with people who are are unable to manage their behavior due to physiological deficits or injuries and then come here and babysit people whose frontal lobes and common courtesy seem to be even more damaged.

To the Slanderer:
Thou wrong'st a [woman] who is as far from thy report as thou from honor.
William Shakespeare
+++++++++++++++++++
About the Slanderer:
When the debate is over, slander becomes the tool of the loser.
Socrates (469 BC - 399 BC)
Insults are engendered from vulgar minds, like toadstools from a dunghill.
Charles Caleb Colton
The slander of some people is as great a recommendation as the praise of others.
Henry Fielding
He who slings mud generally loses ground.
Adlai E. Stevenson
Slander is the revenge of a coward, and dissimulation his defence.
Samuel Johnson (a/k/a Dr. Johnson) ("The Great Cham of Literature")
Malice sucks up the greater part of her own venom, and poisons herself.
Michel de Montaigne (1533 - 1592)
+++++++++++++++++++
To Everyone Else:
There is one way to handle the ignorant and malicious critic. Ignore him.
Author Unknown
Have patience awhile; slanders are not long-lived. Truth is the child of time; erelong she shall appear to vindicate thee.
Immanuel Kant (1724 - 1804)
Where it concerns himself,
Who's angry at a slander, makes it true.
Ben Jonson, Catiline (act III, sc. 1)
Learning to ignore things is one of the great paths to inner peace.
Robert J. Sawyer (1960 - ), "Calculating God", 2000
One's dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but cannot be taken away unless it is surrendered.
Michael J. Fox (1961 - ), in "Saving Milly" by Morton Kondrake
No one is safe from slander. The best way is to pay no attention to it, but live in innocence and let the world talk.
Moliere (1622 - 1673)
Honor does not have to be defended.
Robert J. Sawyer (1960 - ), "Calculating God", 20
Slander meets no regard from noble minds; only the base believe what the base only utter.
John Bellers
Whatever be the motive of insult, it is always best to overlook it; for folly scarcely can deserve resentment, and malice is punished by neglect.
Samuel Johnson (a/k/a Dr. Johnson) ("The Great Cham of Literature")

Yes, easier said than done, but I get called a vicious, condescending, biased, Nazi bitch every month on this very list and if that kept me up at night I would have had no sleep at all the past 2 1/2 years. If someone says something wonky about me (and believe me - they do), I look at it, examine it, and if it's wrong I know that it says more about the person who said it and less about me. If it's true, then I decide whether to do something about it or let it go.
You men are so cute when you are defending the honor of your women, but most of us women are stronger than you may think. If I was alone with the little punk-ass who wrote this you can know for sure he would be walking a little less straight after I left and I wouldn't even need my 200-pound husband to do it. My spouse would just pound him where I would wound him in such a way that he would always remember me.
From here on out it is an automatic ban for anyone who uses this sort of foul, childish behavior. There is already a rule about this, but this is a call to arms. As soon as anyone first sees someone doing this please write to Motts and/or one of the Moderators and as soon as we see your message the person will be banned.
It's that simple. Simple brutal solutions for simple-minded brutal people.

Thanks for attending to that stain Lynne.
Ive gotten to the point where I rarely respond to Trolls
due to the things you have outlined. But when a friends
wife is slandered, I cannot remain silent.

When
anyone
is slandered it is disgusting. There's no need for it. It says
everything
about the speaker and
nothing
about the subject.
