In this video a British man with Autism flies over Rome once in a helicopter and is able to recreate a huge, near-perfect panorama of the city.

It blows my mind - both that he is able to do that and that people feel they are at liberty to make the comments beneath that they do

good gods. it's like some sub-youtube small-minded carnival. are there really people who think like that and aren't afraid to say that shit out loud?  i'm all for the anonymity of teh internets but it makes you wonder how many of those kids would stand up in class and say those things in front of their peers. frightening.

Hello class, and welcome to the internet.  Occasionally, you will run across someone saying things that are offensive, that you disagree with, or that is just plain stupid.  It isn't really newsworthy, and your best course of action is to just ignore it.  Remember: don't feed the trolls!

No clue.  I somehow think I might have seen different comments than you, as I didn't see any that were really too bad, just a lot of stupid ones, most of which had nothing to do with the video.

I know I'm extremist, but I think all Net Newbies should be sentenced to one week of Fark.com comments.  I can't think of anything better to numb down ones sense of moral outrage.

Yep, we definitely saw different comments!  Of course, I didn't do "view all" either...  The worst I saw was talking about one of the people in the ad on the side of the page.
