im home from school for spring break so i'd figure id head to my local stomping grounds, as id never gone up with my new dslr. motts has shot this place, i limited myself to one building because it was beautiful weather and i wanted to be on my bike. one of the wings recently was set ablaze, which is the fire damage you see.

Great shots  Cheesy

As wierd as it may be, the spaces inside seem oddly inviting. Maybe it's the bright warm lighting.

What a shame... I suppose the fire was from the fireworks incident last year.

Great shots though! What camera & lens do you have?

the fireworks was another building, the "explosion" was overblown. this was actually a volunteer firefighter who set it, he was "bored", i actually went to school with him. this was with a konica minolta 5d and the kit lens which is 18-70 3.5-5.6. in PP i warmed them up and some glow filter on a few. my other lenses are a 50 1.7 and a 70-300 which are too tight for indoors. im looking to get a 24-70 2.8 soon, or 24 prime. thanks for the compliements.

Great shots HV.
Particularly liked the first, outdoor pic, with the almost perfect symmetry nicely broken by that dormer window.
More please...

Another excellent set of photos. This looks like a good place to explore, just to pick up and read all those various papers that are thrown about.
