We've started renovations on our house. We had a roof  put on last monday.  Some had asked to see work in progress and after shots.  I have more shots but I haven't come close to editing them I've been busy with other projects and stuff.  More to come eventually.

Van and ladders in place

Wow, that new camera takes extremely clear shots. Nice stuff indeed. The clarity of the van photo is amazing.

I think that is one of the many benefits of photography: as you search for subjects you begin to realize that objects of beauty were around you all along and you never took the time to really notice.

Roof work is not my thing... heights make me turn knees inward, and pee like a lil girl.

I am sick of home improvement... I think I want a condo.

Nice shots Gorden. I'm sure I've said it before but you can make most things interesting.

Yeah it diooes make me feel better.  I wouldn't go up those ladders on a bet.  Heights and I do not mix.  Yet I'm not afraid to fly.

Thank you folks for the compliments  I only had a few shots of the roof work, because I went to the ER for a tetanus shot.  I'd stepped on a nail while I was showing the roofers out outdoor electrical outlet... I got more when I can edit them a bit I'll put 'em up

Great pictures Ed, and sorry about the tetanus shot. I know the feeling...I just had another shot after I impaled myself on a trophy. (No, not first place) They're nothing compared to rabies shots, though.

I  have to thank Photoshp Elements for that detail.

I was out on my porch and saw this van parked in a parking lot on the next block, right under the light.  I had my zoom lens on and decided It's begging to have its' picture taken. I like taking the occasional night shot.  Besides I wanted to experiment with Elements.  I'm a complete novice at it.    So I messed with things until more and more detail came out.  It's hard to know when to stop
