Yeah, I was bummed when I saw my account had to be approved. But, I guess its for the better. Glad to see Motts has popped in.

The accounts only need to be approved because of the huge amount of spam this board gets. However, there are OTHER ways of blocking spam-bots other than having to approve every single account. Yeah, having to approve every member keeps the trolls away, but in my opinion, that's way too time consuming. There are FAR more spam-bots and 'bullshit members' than there are trolls.

What this site lacks is a security question. A security question will keep the spam far away.

I'm still approving them, as some spam 'bots' are actual paid people to do this, but they will go 1.6 million times quicker without a ton of fake registrations. If it works out real well I'll take the approvals off
