What I always loved best was getting up really early before even the plows came through, and looking at the beauty of untouched snow.  And in Breck, there was a lot of it!

I ~love~ untouched snow. I don't even like leaving footprints in it. Any snow pictures I take, I try not to get any footprints in the picture.

Next time you get up early to view the freshly fallen snow, scoop up a handful and put it in your mouth. Cool and refeshing!!!

Yep Pa I almost agree with you......  summer is too hot,  spring is nice but the bugs are starting to come out,  winter is fresh and I love it.... and autumn is my favourite!   Crisp,  cool and gorgeous!

Autumn is my favorite season too. I'm one of those few freaky people who actually enjoys raking leaves. It's something I look forward to every year.

When I was little, we were allowed to burn leaves. The smell of burning leaves penetrated the entire neighborhood.

I like all four seasons, but, my favorite time is when the snow is falling. Everything gets so damn QUIET! And if it's a heavy snow, at night, look up into it as it falls...the optical illusion is wild... Smiley

You guys know xactly what I'm talking about.  I just wish I could put that particular feeling of stillness into words a bit better!
