yay, been to the docs....its just a fungal infection...but he said mines gotten quite bad (oops) so i might have to take pills for it...but im gonna give the shampoo a go none the less. Cheesy

Glad you've finally been to the quacks, man.
Best of luck with the shampoo, I accidently used the dog shampoo in the shower last week but I've got a lovely glossy coat and a slight urge to bite the postman.


And don't ask about the lamp post.... :shock:

oh yeah, just thought id mention i still have this...ive gotten through 2 bottles of the stuff i should be using....and ive even used it more than it 'recommends'.....but no joy...i think i should go back to see Herr Doktor Tongue

I just saw something in our local paper about chronic skin and scalp itching.  This is also a symptom of renal (kidney) failure and should be checked out -- i.e., too much potassium in the blood.   I just think, for the most part, it is dry skin due to winter weather.  But you can't be too careful!
