Thank to the help of two awesome CT explorers, we were able to see this pair of beautiful old theaters.  30 minutes earlier and we would have been seen/caught by the cops who went inside.  Came back later to check it out with no issues.

I wish these could be properly restored.

#9 & #10 are breath taking.   It would be wonderful if some group took this project on before the place is to far gone.  I'd love to see these in person.  Love old theatres. Went and looked at the remaining pictures.   Love the one that is taken looking up towards the seating with the sun shining.   So Beautiful.  The one entitled eclipse is sensational.    Thanks for posting  they made my day.

What magnificent theaters!  Are they talking restoration?  They should - these are awesome.

Don't judge me unless you have looked through my eyes, experienced what I have and cried as many tears as me.  Until then back off, cause you have no idea.

But of course [some] poeple find it far more important to fund projects like building walmarts and condos, rather than preserve and restore such a beautiful edifice like this...

Holy crap, if I had the money I would restore it and live in it...beyond amazing. Makes me want to sit inside and just stare at the ceiling and ornate work

Sadly, someone told me yesterday that the theaters will be knocked down for condos in the future.  Sucks.

Great set dude. I fucking love this place, such a shame its future is looking pretty bleak. Wish i'd been able to pull off some of the shots you got.

Incredible craftsmanship. I hope they can be saved. These beauties stand on the razor's edge of possible restoration or complete loss. Time is not on their sides and I hope they are saved.  Cry

Great set!  Reminds me of the Garde theater in New London but these theaters in their hey day way better than the Garde.
