...well, almost for me anyway! This hospital explore was quite literally cut short as I sliced my hand open climbing out the mortuary window. Was nice and relaxed albeit overgrown and damp, half the place is sadly alarmed and it has a live-in security guard in one building.

Luckily my explore buddy is a trained first aider so I was patched up well, can't say the same for my t-shirt though which was a bit of a mess!

1. Sadly the only external of the manor house I got, I was planning on getting more before the sudden stop. You can see the rear of the old manor house which was later used as part of the hospital.

6. This bit is sadly all alarmed. Good view of the three-pronged spiky Palisade fence of death which surrounds many derelict locations in the UK though....if you don't have it in the USA you should count yourselves fortunate!

Delicious!  Love the window in 13.   And the tub and the body trays and that fence is pure evil!   Sorry about you being wounded...glad you are okay!

Don't judge me unless you have looked through my eyes, experienced what I have and cried as many tears as me.  Until then back off, cause you have no idea.

I have absolutely no idea what #5 was, I first thought it was something like a zone alarm box but the 9x9 grid on it looked like it had markings for noughts 'n' crosses on it...no idea what 'alamo' refers to either.

Thanks all, the hand's pretty much healed up now. Hoping to get back here at some point to 'accidentally' set some of the alarms off  Cheesy

Great set.  Glad you had first aid with you.  Have to be sure those things are well cleaned.  No telling what stuff grows there......I mean look at that tub!!
That pointy fence is just scary.   Not seen it in the US hope it stays that way.

mookster, if you hadn't stated this was a hospital in the intro & #9 was the first photo I saw, I'd think this was a hotel from the way that hallway looks. That is not the typical hall of a hospital here in the U.S.A.

Great set of photos you have here, mookster.

That pointy fence is just scary.   Not seen it in the US hope it stays that way.

It's called Palisade Fencing, typically three-pronged steel fencing which comes in varying heights and density of bars, nicknamed the ball-buster/castrator  because you really, really don't want to slip while on top of it! If you're lucky someone has removed a rivet from the base of a slat or bent one, or you can get under it if the ground is soft enough.....going over it is a last resort and I try and avoid it at all costs!

Someone on 28 slipped and caught his lips on a palisade fence.
