The aptly named Steep Hill is part of the Roman road through Lincoln and has a number of 11th century buildings as well as some a little more modern. It was a carpy day when I took these so please excuse the less-than-thrilling skies.

What a quaint location!  I love it!  Tell me - are the lines on the building in 15 and 16 wavy or am I losing my sight.....

What an awesome set.  Would love to live near a place like that.

Thanks you.
Your eyesight is safe Toot, that house has been slowly falling down for about six hundred years!
The item in 4 is the cast-iron case for a water pump. The stump of the handle is on the top right of the case and the spout would have projected at the front.

Ok I been looking and looking at 7 and I gotta ask - is that a real cat or is it painted on the brick lol.   If its real, its feet are invisible lol.

Glad my eyesight is still good lol.  Falling down for 600 years....its not in any hurry is it.

What an awesome set, Colin.

I'm not a traveler, but I want to visit the UK so very bad. Your pictures give me great ideas of what to see.

I love this place.  We just don't have old enough stuff around here for me.  I don't think they ventured into Minnesota very much until the 1800's.

Looks like a beautiful place just to walk around....the shops look cool! Although the walk back down would probably be much easier!!! Grin Cheesy

Love #2 and the vintage clothing store. The street lamp in 6 looks like its leaning! Great old world feel and pics.

What a charming place (albeit a workout to go shopping there.) Great set!
