Singlehandedly the most beautiful abandonment i've ever been lucky enough to explore. Definitely a challenge to shoot as i suck ass at manually focusing but simply being inside this place was enough in itself. Very big thanks to a very awesome girl for making this happen =)

Now that is a place I would love to see a show or movie not these cramped multiplexes they got today.  Though Reminds me of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chance The Chance theater as well as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bardavon_1869_Opera_House The Bardavon also in Poughkeepsie. So glad both these places have not fallen to the ruins like this.

OMG! That is beautiful! I'm speechless. This is, hands down, the best theater gallery I've ever seen. Well done, young man. Well done indeed.

Well I don't see where any of these suck!  These are awesome!  What a gorgeous place - a throw back to the age of elegance.  Great work.

The Paramount in Austin MN, was a small, but beautiful movie theatre.  I thought all theatres would look like that when I was a kid, but was sadly disappointed when we moved and the theatres were newer and ugly.  They made it into a night club for awhile, but I don't know if it is still standing.
Minneapolis renovated our beautiful Orpheum and State performing arts centers, but I have never been in an elegant movie theatre again.  So sad.

Great pics as usual.

Great set, the black and white photo of the empty seats is chilling. Like looking out into a ghost audience. I like #7 a lot as well. The theater's design is absolutely stunning too.

Nice job, I was just here last month as well.  Luckily we got stuck in traffic because when we got there, there was a cop, a worker and some girl going into the front door.  30 minutes earlier, we would have got caught.  We went somewhere else local and came back here later with no issues.

It was a pain to shoot in there because of the horrible lighting.
