From the first time i saw this place i was mesmerized by it. If i lived even 10 hours away, i would drive to see it. Sad it looks so bad, but really adds to the creepy factor.

I think it was when I was in my early teens, and starting to really notice Bennett for the first time as my father moved to that town, after my parents divorced. This was also the same time that I discovered Stephen King, I still think that there is a good chance this building is the twinner for the Overlook Hotel.
Though I also think it was pulled to us thru one of the many doors that can open between Mid-World and here. The building standing this long has only had half hearted attempts at either saving it or tearing it down over so many years something else has to be involved.
