My son and I went to a very old part of this cemetery. I couldn't believe my eyes when we went deeper in. The oldest grave here is 1640 or 1648. I'll point it out later. There is also a grave for Gideon Welles. There is a school named after him in the town I live in.

We met a couple of guys who were there giving a workshop on how to restore headstones.
Apparently, there is a very big restoration project going on here. They told Nick and I that
the tables were for the rich! If you see a table in a cemetery, it is pre-1800 something.
It was after that, that the rich started with the tall stones.
