A 20 minute subway ride and walk through the hood brought Weird Science and myself to this playland of decrepitude. Words can't even begin to describe how fucking monstrously huge this complex is. Every turn yields new secrets, every stairwell dumps you out into an entirely new section not yet seen. I had tons of fun getting lost here with Mr. Science and taking a couple photos. Enjoi:

Don't judge me unless you have looked through my eyes, experienced what I have and cried as many tears as me.  Until then back off, cause you have no idea.

Thanks y'all! Place used to manufacture railcars for subway systems all around the country when it opened in the 20's, before switching to auto production in more recent times. LL, that's just ONE of the buildings hahahaha. There's at least 5-6 more that are the same size, if not bigger. We barely even scratched the surface here, but that's what return trips are for!  Grin

Correction, they did auto bodies before trains, making the first all-steel body in 1912 (they didn't begin production on rail cars until 1930)
