Connecticut Valley Hospital was the first UE location that I ever visited. Now I'm finally get around to showing these pictures. Smiley

1. We began in the hospitals cemetery.

2.

3. Then moved onto the hospitals abandon section.
(I know the quality of this photo is terrible.)

4.

5. Cop cars started to show up so that was the end of our very short trip.

6. These are color photos of another one of my favorite locations. I actually found this place completely by acident! They aren't "photography" quality and haven't been edited.

7.

8.

9.

10.

11.

12. Sideways. Just tilt your head. Smiley

I've always had an interest in CVA, thanx for sharing and very nice shots!

I think that is one of the many benefits of photography: as you search for subjects you begin to realize that objects of beauty were around you all along and you never took the time to really notice.

It's still in use for the most part so it's not to popular with explorers.

If I had a penny for all the times I've said to myself, "Oops, hit the active part"...  Wink

Not sure if Grayfox is going to chime in but I think he had his eye on this place.

haha, CVH, i have heard some crazzyyy stories about that place, alot of people getting out with a green tint to their skin...ive actually dealt with RVS, considered their respite program and junk, its kinda related to CVH, its all run by the state, but yea, pretty neat place, ive never been to that particular building but driven by it many times, if its the one im thinkin about, way off in the back of a field.  kinda weird that i have a thing for psych wards and hospitals, and that i belong in one

anyways, ya know of any other cool places in CT?  i feel ya about the cops, middletown cops are dickkksssssss

one pretty neat place, about half mile from my house, the old piano factory in ivoryton, theres still some buisnesses out back, but the rest is abandoned, and then theres a pretty neat building that was used by moler instruments, not really hospitals or nothin, but theres alottttttt of abandoned factories in my area

Don't judge me unless you have looked through my eyes, experienced what I have and cried as many tears as me.  Until then back off, cause you have no idea.
