That is one big fire. Anyone got photos of this place before the fire?

I looked online and everything suggests the fire was started by lightening, but they are not sure.  The arson investigation team was waiting for everything to get put out to start the investigation.  Got wind of the article from a high school friend whose dad is an arson investigator in Michigan.  They were saying the investigation will tkae months because th place is so big and tehre is so much to go over.  The reuse of the site has lead to additions and lots of custom refits, so it could be faulty wiring or many other factors played a role in the fire.

That's what we in the fire service call a "barn burner".

It just changed hands in December 2010 for a fairly low price (in the $300k range), so I'm very curious how much it was insured for and how this fire started.

Holy crap!  Looks like the place is gone, can't be saved. And yes it would be of a good question, one we will not know the answer to. Glad no one was killed trying to save it.
