I'd like to know who's running that as well.  One of the mods?

No, I don't think so. Lyric used to run a bulletin board before this forum existed and Motts used to have a MySpace page. I suppose Facebook folks could simply go there and ask?

I am on FB and was trying to figure it out...I think I have to "like" it before I can post anything/ask who is running it.  Not a huge deal but knowing it's not Motts, I don't wnat to "like" it yet.  Wink

I can't access it from work, but I found it the othoer day and was surprised to see it given Motts statement on the front page.  I'll try talking to them tonight, though I don't like or use facebook that much :?

I see Doc Sketch asked who was running it but no answer yet.

I just found this thread *after* finding and liking Opacity on Facebook.  It just didn't seem right to me. There are no pics or links or anything really interesting that might make you want to come here.  Just seemed kind of plain.   Has anyone figured out who made it and if it's sanctioned by the 'powers that be' here on Opacity?

The only reason I ask is because I was going to make the Opacity FB page 'featured' on my artist page, but now I'm skeptical.

I never did hear back from whoever runs the group. I doubt it's "sanctioned", but I don't really see any problems with it as long as they stick to the same basic rules (don't give away location names, etc) that we do on the board...
