After a long search i have givin up looking for a history. All i know is this was built sometime in the 1900's (?) and was construted on the banks of Campbells pond, named for the Scottish immigrant Samuel Campbell. It was later transformed into a pumping station for the city of Orange NJ.

This is cool.  The third one with the graffiti - whoever did the man's face is pretty good.

Nice set!  I am in no way even close to a fan of tagging or graffiti but this is kind of artistic. (Did I just say that? Hell must have frozen over, lol!)  Anyway, I really like 1 and 5.

ooooh....I really like #7.  the ice in the water looks weird.  milky or something.  I don't know, but it's cool.  I like 5 and 6 too, so i guess I'm with kay.   Smiley  Thanks for posting these!  R~

A little more history and a slightly better explanation of the history of Campbell’s Pond.  Area was the sight of  a lot of paper mills and the pond was dammed to assist in this. (woops edit for correct word usage of dam.)
