hello,
I have not posted on here in a long time.
I am asking this here because this group seems to be very eclectic.
open to others troubles, open minded, honest.

This thing that happens now and then, maybe once a year, only for 5 to 10 min.
it just happened again.

It is like a memory, or a dream, but much more real.
I believe in ghosts (I have a good theory on that), past lives, that there is much more to life then we can understand.

I am wondering if any one else has these spells (not sure what else to call them).

the incident is already fading.


I just had a time here, where I was some where else, in a life that is not what I am currently living.  I know that it was only about 5 min, because I am letting a car run to charge up the battery. so I am watching the time.

here is what happened.
I live in south Dakota, it has been cold and I have not started our off road trucks for many months.
so I am sitting here.
and suddenly I am in an apartment at the beach.    I am in a hurry doing something because I need to meet my girl friend at the board walk. The apartment is mine. I feel a lot of fear, at remembering that I am supposed to meet her and the (how could I have or why did I forget).  I do know her, every thing in the apartment is ours/mine.



She is not some one that I know currently.  she is out skating, and waiting for me.



when this happens most are related to a beach. Some are not, there are some from, war, ranching, some are past times, some seem to be in the future. 

I am not sure why they are so real.  I don't think they are just day dreams.  At least not like I think of a day dream.

I don't know what happens here, while I am there.



What do you guys and gals make of this.  It has happened my whole life.

also, not related, why is it when I am typing here. and reach the bottom of this box. the post jumps and I can not see what I am typing. I can only see the top part of the box. like the scroll is messed up.

is it possible that the same sprirt can be living multipal lives? that is sure what it feels like.

I'm going to be brave and jump into this....
I also believe in spiritual things that cannot always be explained.
First I have some questions. Do you feel that you consciously try to , for lack of a better term, "try to be somewhere else"? Do you have any idea how old you are in these experiences? Is it similar to a deja vu experience?
Are you familiar with Sylvia Browne? Look at her web site and look up past life regression.
It could be as simple as a day dream type dissociation.

no, not something that I try to do.
age I am not sure. if I had to venture a guess, mid 20's early 30's.

past life regression..
not this last one as there were in line skates in it.

could just be an intense day dream with a deja vu all in one.

just disturbing to think that I am missing out, or that there is more going on then I presently understand.

just a creapy thing that happens and wondering if any one else has this happen.

At the risk of sounding like some hokey new ager.....

Yes, there could be some past life memory that is coming up.  Even Jung believed that there were possibilities like that to explain why some things feel very Deja Vu.

The mind is an awesome thing.. Mind you.. there could be something in your self-conscious that is bringing up vivid images from books, movies or various other things you have read or seen. 
Or your imagination is kicking up some wild things for you to write down and create something new (like a book) with these images.

Should you opt to go and see a psychic or medium.  Proceed with caution.  You should go into this with much skepticism... (no offense to the psychics or mediums who are among us.. if there are any...)
My advice should you seek their counsel..  Do not tell them everything you have just told us. 
Do not allow them to fish ALL of this out of you.  If this is really part of something for a medium to see.. A good one will see it... Because face it.. Not all of us are famous dead people.
It may take a few visits to a few different psychics to get a few different opinion/stories before you can put all of this stuff together.

My next biggest piece of advice.  WRITE THIS STUFF DOWN!
What you were doing with this visionary state comes on..  Note the times.  See if there is a pattern.

I agree with Lyric.    Write this stuff down,   when it happens,  look for calendars,  newspapers and see if you can get a fix on a date.    This may sound silly,  but look into a mirror.    Then think about seeing a reputable medium.     And I say "reputable" because although there are many very gifted and honest ones,  there are also many charlatans.

I can't explain what is happening to you,   I wish I could.   It almost sounds like trance work though.     And perhaps someone from the other side is trying to get through to you?     Definitely though,  seek out a good,  reliable medium.

Good idea about writing it down.  I agree IF you see a psychic, say next to nothing. Anyone who truly  IS psychic will pick up on whatever you're experiencing.

Yes,  I forgot to confirm that too...  a good one may ask you questions to confirm what they have already given you,    but don't offer a bunch of information otherwise.

in the past I was really in to the phycic medium thing. 
again that is like a lost part of my life.
not sure where or when it passed into this new life.

I went to the berkley phycic instatute for a while.

there I was told that I was having many lives all in one.
that I was a very old being and was finishing up my life cycle.

this scared me a bit. now I look back over my real life and can count.
7 major, different changes.

farm kid in the middle of no where, hard working, left out of all the fun other kids were having due to drinking parents, working parents, chores to do.

at this time, around 17 they put in a road through the fields and dug up an indian mound.  I found it and picked up some arrow heads, part of a skull, some other stuff.
I don't know what I pissed off, but it was pretty major over the next 4 or 5 years.
I took the stuff back the next day but I guess it was to late.

Life was hell for the next 4 or 5 years. this thing would hurt me, make stuff happen that was bad.  I didn't tell any one because of the horror stories about the loony bin.

dang computer.
so I ran away to california, figured I could hide there a long time and no one would notice.

so berkely and the institute.  they removed it. 
the person that I was with heard screaming, felt a cold wind, doors where slamming. He dropped me as a friend after that.

then it was on to the red neck hard working.  Had a lot of very hard jobs in very bad places.

then it was on to computer repair and driving all over the central part of california. figured out women, had lots of girls all the time.

then got tired of all the people after the 89 earth quake, the fire in oakland.

so on to being home less and living in a van for about a year.  Had money from the computer life.


then on to college, that was fun for a while.  graduated at the top of my class and became a nurse. in Missouri.

now I am married, living in western south dakota.  Going to have my first kid at the age of 49.  still a nurse.


there is much more that happened along the way. 
damn screen is doing that jumping thin aain where I cannpt see what I am typing.

near death experience where I saw 3 things and one big thing in charge.

had a voice scream out of no where to STOP.  saved my life.

got beat and left for dead once, changed my out look on people.

(not provoked) got attacked and the crowd stepped for ward to watch, not to help.

(not provoked) got attacked and chased, I got away from him by hurting him bad, but no one stepped up to help.  that is when I started to carry a gun.

looking back and counting I have had 22 completley different jobs.  Always did pretty good at them.


Oh, I don't have any close friends any more.  I have two that I consider brothers, but we don't talk much any more about the simple day to day stuff.

I am not sure how to find a medium to talk to.  damn computer is doing the jumping thing again and I can't see what I am typing.

oh yeah, that indian thing.
the people I finally told about it. took me to the berkely place.
but during the story it attacked one girl.  Other people saw the attack, for real. they didn't see it, but saw her thrown against a wall, saw the bite it made on her arm.

No kidding this is a true story as best as I can remember it. not one of my drift spells.
it turned the lights on and off. made the phone stop working when she called a phycic for help.

this thing looked some thing like if you took a big cat, an alligator, a dog, put them all into a blender poored out the resulting animal and burned it.  It liked to hang on my back, causing a lot of back pain.  I have not told any one about this thing in over 20 years.

Missouriman,  again my best advice would be to find a really good spiritual medium.    If you don't know how to find one,  get to a reputable "new age" store like we have here that sells books,  crystals,  tarot etc...... those places usually have access to good psychics who do readings,  and can usually refer people to them.   Good luck!

Weird stuff, huh. (I know someone who does "compassionate de-possesions" in her Reiki classes-but this seems a bit more worrisone.) I consider myself lucky and well-protected in the way that the only thing of torment in my life now is my (thankfully medication controlled!) anxiety disorder.
On another tangent- I had a reading done from the Akashic records. It's fascinating to know the connections between things I "get a feeling" about.
