I got such a positive response from my first pics of Consolidated Coal I decided to share some more with you of another location.

This is Washington School in Murphysboro, Illinois (where I live). The owner has let the building fall to pieces because the city refused to rezone it. It's his way of "sticking it to the man." My mom went to kindergarten here, and to my knowledge, it was closed in the late 70s - possibly before.

I really like 3 and 8. Do I detect a little dabble in HDR.
Nice location.

I'd agree on the HDR,   and I love #8.

Ha yeah they're all HDR'd to varying degrees.

#8 and #9 I used really high levels in Photomatix trying to go for a classic postcard and painted look, respectively.

I got a copy of Lightroom recently so I'm starting to dabble in that too.

This weekend I hope to take a LOT of pictures of abandonment along the riverfront in St. Louis so I'll prob be posting a few of those before too long.

I think if people are not quite sure that it is HDR you've done it about right.

4 and 8!  They are all great.  Building isn't going to be standing too much longer from the looks of it.
