I found this footage of psychiatric patients from the 1940's and 50's on you tube.  Does anyone recognize a specific hospital?

I don't recognize the hospital, but that music is so haunting!  Do you know why some of the patients have those masks over their eyes?  Creepy footage. Sad

But here in this graveyard it is still no man's land. Countless white crosses in mute witness stand To man's blind indifference to his fellow man To a whole generation who were butchered and damned.

If it's the video I'm thinking of (didn't click the link), I'm fairly certain the masks are to hide the patients' identities.

I feel the Silent Hill music was a nice touch. I'd love to get my hands on all the footage from that video.

Someone here must know what hospital that is.    The music is really haunting.

Wow.  I just don't have words for this.  I'm certain that the monotony in a mental institution a disability of it's own kind.

That's what it says in the discription of the video...the masks were to protect identity. It is  a compilation so I'm thinking more than one place.

That was real creepy. I wish they would of left it so you could hear the patients talking. I always found it interesting to listen to those people. On a somewhat related note, there is an album from a band called Sublime and it has a few parts of this mental patient just talking. He would go on and on about nothing. I found some of the clips on youtube:

he swears alot so not really work safe or whatever.

I thought the hospital looked familiar too. I messaged the creator of the vid and he said it was a compilation of images and no one place in particular. Random images he found on the web.
