This coaster looks a lot like the one that still operates in a small amusement park here in my hometown.

This reminds me a lot of Mountain Park, in Holyoke, which oddly I visited again today because it was in a great location for hiking near a nice resovoir. You say you only have tracks left out there? The whole park used to be here, but they removed the antique carousel and then most of it was set fire to shortly afterwards...Now, there is just land there, also soon to be used for housing or condos or some stupid crap...I miss how cool this place used to be...!  Sad  Cool post here!
