To all who think that no one cares about the remains of Pennhurst:

There is an active group trying to rally support for it's preservation. The group has gone to such lengths as to conduct feasability studies and everything. Find them here: http://www.preservepen...om/default.aspx?pg=6

Also, Pennhurst never actually housed people with mental illnesses, just people with mental and developmental disabilities.
