Staircase

Are there people guarding the building at night? if so is there any way to get in without getting caught?

Hydrotherapy

Rae

Has anyone read the book Project 17? It's really good. It's about six kids who made a video of themselves exploring Danver State Hospital. It got me obsessed with insane asylums. They're just so interesting.

Leaving

Rae

Short, fun, and terrifying, I hope you mean? I'd be scared out of my skin haha.
Amazing shots, Mr. Motts.

Padded Room

Paddedroompadeedroompaddedroom.
I would high-tail it outta there SO fast after discovering that. The whole concept of insanity scared me half to death, and just think of what's gone on within those walls...

Moss Room

Rae

This room looks like something from a nightmare I've had before.
It totally unnerves me...

Rainbow

Rae

Creepy.
A sigh of happiness in a place now full of despair.

To the Playground

Rae

That's completely... That's really, really strange.
It looks more like the hallway to hell rather than the way to the playground.

Branches

Rae

Beautiful... I thought it was some sort of plant growth a first.

Panic Button

Rae

I find this more eerie than comical, really.. Though it's probably a fake label, even the idea of needing to use a panic button while in an insane asylum just gets to me.
Patient rebellion, anyone?

Sinks

Rae

They can turn the handles with their elbows to keep the handles free from the blood on their hands. S'just what popped into my mind after reading the caption.

The Drain

Rae

To think of how much blood's been down that drain...

Ligatures and Flies

Rae

Eerie as hell... Like said before, the fly really adds this wonderfully grotesque element.

Neck Block

Rae

'Certain incisions'... Ick. I can hardly bear to think about half of what went on in here, medical or not.

Patterns

rae

The painted squares actually help t prevent people from wandering. If you are a bit messed up in the head, the dark paint looks like a hole the middle paint a shadow and the light paint an island. You can see in that picture, you would get to the dark paint and stop if you thought you were going to fall in.
