this state of the art item is a gas control valve station/regulator. it allowed the attendant to turn up or down gas fired burners that heated domestic shower water through the use of a heat exchanger. this process though much improved, is used worldwide today

love the old watersaver toilets,the one in the back corner has the same appearence as toilets (1.6) sold today. What a flush that must have given,dont loose your seat!

i believe this area would be called in todays terms isolation , used for suiside watch or punishment of unruly clients.
