um.. i'm sorry "author" but not all of them were treated well. I supervise community group homes now and one of the people who lives in one of my homes lived at Letchworth for almost 30 years... he's pretty F*ed up now and has lovely stories about how "well" he was treated... you're living in la-la land "author".

As a person who lives with mental illness in the 21st century, I can relate to the patient looking out the hole. It depicts a metaphor for the seclusion and lonliness that is felt when society treats you different. Ignorance provokes fear. Open the door and give me a hug.

Motts, I've heard rumours (rather recently actually) that danvers was going to be torn down this year. Is that a threat to kids do you think, or is it going to happen?? By the way, I admire your Photography. I was outside of danvers, right as the security guard was leaving....but i've heard its hard to get in...unless you know where the entrance is.
