	kate Same freaked the shit outta me. theirs a fourth floor but its the door kept shutting on us. the first 2 floors are not that bad but it feels like someone is following you on the third.

	Kate I know you guys find Byberry cool and scary but it is very real and sad for me. Looking at the pictures makes me want to cry.I use to visit my grandfather there in the 60,s. He was an alcoholic and poor during the depression. Byberry was state funded.He went in during the early 40,s. Our family would go to visit. My Dad would go in and get him and we would go to one of the big fields for a picnic. You are so lucky today that there are rehabs and medicines to help with most problems. May those poor people rest in peace.

	kate i think all of these pictures of the hotel are a little erie. i live about 15 minutes from the hotel and it's said to be haunted now. i wouldn't doubt it. its so creepy looking, an old run down building on the top of a hill.

	kate i drove down the driveway last night at about quarter to eleven and it was so scary i had to leave. just after i pulled out i saw a cop car pull in. (perfect timing, huh?) i went back today with two friends to attempt to get inside, just to look, not to do any vandalism or disturb any part of the building in any way, but it was completely boarded up. i want to get inside so badly, just so i can see for myself the true beauty of this magestic building. anyone know a guaranteed way to get in?

	Kate That was indeed a seclusion room. Andrew Palmer, who wrote Hell and Back, mentioned these rooms when I interviewed him. The staff would sit on the other side and watch the kids work out their crisis inside the seclusion room. That way the staff didn't get hurt while the kid was in crisis.
